2017年4月10日,Adv. Funct. Mater在線發(fā)表了西北工業(yè)大學(xué)材料學(xué)院陳福義教授課題組的一篇關(guān)于氧氣還原(ORR)和硼氫化鈉氧化(BOR)雙功能催化的文章,題為“One-pot Synthesis of Dealloyed AuNi Nanodendrite as a Bifunctional Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Reduction and Borohydride Oxidation Reaction, DOI: 10.1002/adfm.201700260”。研究人員采用靈活可控的一步電化學(xué)方法成功地合成了去合金的AuNi多層次納米枝晶,與“先合金化后去合金”的傳統(tǒng)路線相比,大大節(jié)省了操作程序,消除了在傳統(tǒng)方法中由于更換電解質(zhì)溶液而對催化性能引起的消極影響。相比于商業(yè)化的Pt/C催化劑,一步法去合金的AuNi納米枝晶的ORR半波電位提高了81 mV, ORR比活性是Pt/C的3.1倍(在0.85 V vs. RHE),并且表現(xiàn)出更加優(yōu)異的ORR穩(wěn)定性、耐甲醇性質(zhì)以及BOR性質(zhì)。更重要的是,該一步法制備的去合金AuNi納米枝晶比采用傳統(tǒng)多步去合金方法制備的AuNi催化劑的催化性能更加突出。研究人員還進(jìn)一步通過實驗驗證了該一步法的合理性和通用性,從而為進(jìn)一步研究新一代電催化劑提供了一種新的思路。
總結(jié)與展望
該工作通過巧妙地設(shè)計實驗方案,使得合金化和去合金過程同時在金屬前驅(qū)體溶液中實現(xiàn),這種開創(chuàng)性的合成路線獲得了較高電化學(xué)活性面積的AuNi先進(jìn)納米枝晶催化劑。并且該過程是在室溫下實現(xiàn)的,相比于傳統(tǒng)的去合金過程,該方法更加的簡單、可控以及有效地把制備過程對催化劑性能的負(fù)面影響降到最低。更令人興奮的是,該一步法制備的AuNi催化劑比商業(yè)化的Pt/C和通過傳統(tǒng)方法合成的AuNi催化劑顯示出更加優(yōu)異的催化性能,同時實驗驗證了該方法的合理性和應(yīng)用于其他合金體系的廣泛性。以上的結(jié)果顯示,經(jīng)合理優(yōu)化的AuNi雙金屬納米枝晶在燃料電池領(lǐng)域存在極大的應(yīng)用價值,而且該合成路線為發(fā)展下一代新型電催化劑帶來了新的希望。
