首先，各位考生要根據之前講過的方法，審出四點關鍵信息。①應用文的類型(題干中的關鍵詞“email”就告訴了各位考生應用文的類型是書信);②書信的類型(大綱中規定的書信類型總共12種，但是根據關鍵詞“inviting”就可以判斷此篇為邀請信); ③稱呼語(這封信是寫給“a foreign teacher”，“teacher”是對方的一種職位，所以稱呼語為“Dear Teacher”;④寫作背景(……inviting him / her to be a judge for the upcoming English speech contest，邀請他/她擔當即將到來的英語演講的裁判員)。除此之外，還要注意署名為“Li Ming”。各位同學可以根據上述的信息來構思我們的文章：

Dear Teacher,

It is my great honor to invite you to be a judge for the forthcoming English speech contest that will be held in our college. And the contest will be held on May 6th at Tsinghua Hall.

It is known that you have acted as the judge for English speech contest for many times and it is believed that you have much experience for the job. So we would like to invite you to be the judge for the contest. It is sure that your coming will improve the standard of the contest and you will give our students a fair score.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could inform us before May 1st. We sincerely hope that you will accept my invitation.

面對范文，各位考生要總結思路：第一段，表明目的，活動簡介(時間地點);第二段，邀請原因，活動安排，邀請目的;第三段，詢問意見，表示期待。

在語言上，各位考生可以借鑒的句型如下：表明目的的句型“It is my great honor to invite you to……”，之前的文章中，各位考生應該見過另一種表明目的的句型：“I am writing this letter to ……”但是，邀請信要表達出自己強烈的誠意，所以只能用“It is my great honor to invite you to……”。活動簡介的句型：“And 某活動 will be held on 日期 at 地點.”。詢問意見的句型：“It would be greatly appreciated if you could inform us before +日期.”。表示期待的句型：“We sincerely hope that you will accept my invitation.”。

這篇文章的第一段和第三段都涉及到了日期，各位考生在組織文章時，要注意這兩個日期之間的邏輯性。
