圖書簡介

　　本套教材集聽力、口語、精讀、快速閱讀、泛讀、語法、寫作和翻譯為一體，重在訓練和提高學生的聽、說、讀、寫、譯的英語綜合能力。全書共分四冊，每冊側重不同，但語法知識、各種能力的培養貫穿始終，難度呈階梯性增加。
　　第一冊側重基礎英語知識的學習，包括基本語法介紹、音標發音矯正、簡單的閱讀理解等，詞匯掌握量在2000～2500個左右。
　　第二冊側重較高層次語法知識的學習，課文的長度和難度較第一冊有所提升，詞匯掌握量在3500—4000個左右。
　　第三冊側重更高層次語法知識的學習，同時著重訓練學生的寫作能力，詞匯掌握達到5000～5500個左右。
　　第四冊側重醫護科普閱讀和寫作技巧的訓練，學生的詞匯量應掌握在6500～7000個左右。
　　本教材根據初中及高中畢業生的英語水平設置，只要按部就班地學完全部四冊教材后，學生的英語水平可以達到托福考試550分的標準。
　　本套教材體例格式活潑，選材廣泛，內容牛動有趣，有助于調動學生學習英語的興趣。教材將公共英語和初級護理英語相結合，為學生今后學習《護理英語口語》打下了堅實的基礎。本套教材適合初、中級學者使用，更適合作為護士、護生和有意謀求海外護理工作人士的理想英語學習教材。
