王永健,男,1982年出生,貴州獨山人,博士,副教授,碩士生導師。2004年畢業于陜西師范大學生物科學專業,獲理學學士學位;2009年畢業于西南大學三峽庫區生態環境教育部重點實驗室生態學專業,碩博連讀(導師鐘章成先生),獲理學博士學位。同年進入華中農業大學園藝林學學院工作,主要承擔林學、園林專業《森林生態學》、《園林生態學》及《景觀生態學》理論課與實驗實習。研究方向為森林生態學與植物種群生態學,博士論文《異質生境對蝴蝶花種群繁殖對策及遺傳多樣性的影響》獲2010年重慶市優秀博士論文。指導國家大學生創新基金項目1項,華中農業大學大學生科技創新基金(SRF)5項。
2013年1月進入北京林業大學林學博士后科研流動站從事博士后研究工作(合作導師于飛海教授)。

森林生態學:木本克隆植物的功能性狀對環境的適應與響應。
入侵植物生態學與克隆植物生態學:
(1)具進化關系的入侵與本地克隆植物對資源異質性的響應;
(2)具進化關系的入侵與本地匍匐莖克隆植物對水分空間異質性與時間異質性
的適應對策;
(3)竹類種群對環境異質性的響應。
