主要從事功能納米材料的制備及其在電分析化學與電催化領域中的應用等研究工作。開發高效電化學傳感及生物傳感器，應用于環境分析和生物醫學檢測，為癌癥早期靈敏、快速診斷以及環境殘留有害物質的快速、靈敏、高選擇性分析服務。開發新型納米電催化劑，應用于燃料電池等新型能源。

近年來在包括Biosens. Bioelectron., Nanoscale, Electrochem. Commun. Langmuir等期刊上共發表SCI收錄論文40余篇，論文他引800多次。
